(San Diego, CA) in August, 2010; utilizing approximately 250 feet of cable tray and 100 Magnemount cable/cable tray holders in the installation.

The OMWD has also required installers cable duct  for all of the tank’s wireless carriers (including; Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile, etc.) to incorporate ‘non-weld’ systems and all are in the process of implementing and installing these systems to meet compliance.

According to OMWD’s Phillips, “This system is easy, flexible, maintenance-free, and eliminates permanent welding. Also, with multiple wireless carriers on cable trunking  the tank it simplifies the logistics of coordinating whose tray goes where. Because the Magnemount is not a permanent weld it simplifies the process. The adjustments can be made easily ‘on-the-fly” for repositioning them wherever they need to be placed.”

Broken Arrow’s Chris Stump also noted, “The Magnemount system provides an outstanding alternative to welding― which is often not allowed by certain water districts. More importantly this ‘magnetic solution’ allows for a much less invasive installation process; which provides cable raceway cell phone companies with a viable option to present water municipalities who are averse to welding on their tanks. Ultimately, it’s a win-win for Water Districts, cell phone companies & the contractors performing the work.”

Non metallic cable raceway systems http://www.wiring-ducts.com/non-metallic-cable-raceway-systems/ http://www.wiring-ducts.com/non-metallic-cable-raceway-systems/#comments Mon, 22 Nov 2010 06:45:22 +0000 numbo http://www.wiring-ducts.com/?p=1285 Non metallic cable raceway systems such as surface raceways are great cable management solutions for organizing wires in many different cable duct environments, particularly when you can”t drill into your walls or ceilings, such as in apartments and condos. Our line cable casino online trunking of extruded raceways includes a full complement of accessories such as pre-applied adhesive backing, fittings, inside and outside corners so you can easily manage your cables and wires.

All surface raceway parts are made of strong, durable, lightweight, UL 94-VO compliant flame resistant PVC that is also paintable (Latex).

post-race teardown after his Loudon http://www.wiring-ducts.com/post-race-teardown-after-his-loudon/ http://www.wiring-ducts.com/post-race-teardown-after-his-loudon/#comments Mon, 27 Sep 2010 02:20:52 +0000 numbo http://www.wiring-ducts.com/?p=1233 A post-race teardown after his Loudon victory last Sunday threw a monkey wrench into Childress Racing”s Clint Bowyer”s prospects. Citing illegal modifications to the rear bodywork of the car, NASCAR levied a 150-point penalty, fined crew chief Shane Wilson $150,000, and suspended both Wilson and car chief Chad Haney cable raceway for six races. Richard Childress has appealed the penalty, saying that the penalty was based on a measurement that was sixty-thousands of an inch, and could have been caused by a tow truck pushing Bowyer to victory lane casino spiele after he cable channels  ran out of fuel. In addition, other drivers also hit Bowyer”s rear bumper in congratulatory fashion after the checker. For his part, Bowyer feels he was “made an example of” by NASCAR, after his team was warned about being close to tolerance after Richmond two weeks ago. Because of the warning, Bowyer said the cable duct team had made “triple sure” that his Loudon car met all tolerances.

Cable Installation Guide
Install the Cable Step 1:
Run the Cable to the Schoolrooms

Mounting Cable in Raceway

Another way to route cable is to enclose cable channels it in raceway, a wall-mounted channel with a removable top. Decorative raceway (also known by the brand name Wiremold) is big enough to hold two cables. You can use it to enclose cable on the wall inside a schoolroom. Raceway big enough to hold many cables is sometimes called gutter. You may decide to use it in an attic or cable trunking dropped ceiling.

Made of plastic or metal, raceway mounts with screws or an adhesive cable raceway backing. Adhesive raceway (like tie-wraps) is easier to mount but can’t be moved afterward. Once you’ve mounted the raceway, lay the cable into cable duct  it and close the cover.

You may be able to lay cable in existing raceway. Consult your facilities manager. If there’s raceway at your school and it contains power cable, you can’t lay Category 5 cable in it. Power cable emits high-voltage fields that interfere with data transmission.
